To initiate a FTP connection, a FTP client software program is needed. FTP client software can be found online with some being free of charge. To find a FTP client go to www.downloads.com and search for a FTP client that suits your needs. When you have your FTP client installed, start a new connection. You will be asked for the IP address, which will be the FTP Connection Internet Address displayed on the left (your router's WAN IP). Next you will enter your login information. If you have enabled Anonymous FTP access, a login will not be needed. If you disabled Anonymous login, enter your login and password to access the USB storage device remotely. USB Storage FTP Server Create a FTP server to access files remotely using a FTP client. Insert your USB storage device into the USB port on the back panel of the Router and configure your FTP settings below. Use the Internet Address to access the FTP server over the web. FTP Connection Internet Address: If your Internet connection uses a dynamic IP assignment, you may also add a DDNS service to access the FTP via a web address instead. If you were connected wirelessly to the router please reconnect your computer/tablet to the following network: 2.4GHz WiFi:     -or- --> 5GHz WiFi: 2.4G Security: 5G Security: If you were connected using a cable, please check the cable connection.     When reconnected, press OK: If clicking OK does not work after you have reconnected to the router, try refreshing the web browser. If you still do not have access, turn the router off and back on, then try again.
