In some cases this coverage is more than what is needed. 5GHz Wireless Coverage Controls helps you limit the coverage of your 5GHz Wi-Fi network. By adjusting the 5GHz wireless output power lower, the overall distance of your 5GHz Wi-Fi network decreases as well. Note: This page does not adjust settings for your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network coverage can be adjusted from the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Settings menu. If you are concerned about the overall speed of your Wi-Fi network, it is recommended that you keep the Wireless Output Power at 100% (even in a smaller location). You may enable Wi-Fi security on your network to prevent access by unwanted users. Wireless Coverage Controls (5GHz) Adjust the output power and range of your 5GHz Wi-Fi network. For a smaller coverage area, choose a lower output power percentage. For a larger coverage area, select a higher output power percentage.
