Remote Username: The username you will need to login. Remote Password: The password you will need to login. Remote Port: The port you will use to access the gateway UI from the WAN side. Port should be 6000-8000. User Inactivity Timeout: The period in minutes after which the gateway no longer considers you an active user. After the timeout expires, if you navigate to a gateway web page, you will need to login again. Feature Duration: For temporary remote access, this specifies the length of time that remote access is enabled. Permanent remote access means the feature will be enabled even after the gateway is restarted. Permissions: Read-only permissions mean that the remote access user cannot change the state of the gateway. Read-only users can visit protected pages, but cannot make changes. Read-write permissions mean that the remote access user can change the state of the gateway. Remote URL: Specifies the ip address and port in the format you use on most browsers. Access List The access list further restricts by IP Address those who can gain access to the gateway from the WAN. Source IP Address The IP Address or range of addresses allowed for remote access.
