The signal strength can be decreased from full power (100%) to reduce the network's range. The power can be decreased to reduce interference to other networks in the area and to limit the access to your network to a smaller geographic area. 802.11 Mode b only mode b/g mode g/n mode b/g/n mode n only mode Help Select the 802.11 communication modes to best match the other devices on your network. You may see improved performance if you limit your network to only Wireless-N (802.11n) devices. Select additional modes for maximum compatibility with older equipment. Retain the default settings of b/g/n for 2.4GHz and a/n for 5GHz if you are unsure. 802.11n Support Required --> Help Setting this to Yes will require all devices to use 802.11n to connect to the network. Wireless-N (802.11n) technology is a standard for high-speed Wi-Fi networks. Newer devices are typically capable of using Wireless-N. However, when devices connect to the network that are not using N-mode, the performance of the N-mode devices will be impacted. --> Bandwidth 20 Mhz 40 Mhz Current Bandwidth: 20MHz Help The standard bandwidth for 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks is 20 MHz. Increasing the bandwidth can increase the amount of data that the network can carry. However, if the SBG6782-AC detects another Wi-Fi network using frequencies in the wider bandwidth, the SBG6782-AC will automatically reduce the bandwidth to the normal 20 MHz width.
