System Configuration System Configuration Configuration Wizard: A step-by-step wizard interface helps you setup the DSA-5100 easily. System Information: Provides an interface to set the DSA-5100 system information and basic network services, such System Name, Administrator Info, SNMP and Time Zone etc. To enforce users to visit a specific web site, put the site's URL in the Home Page field. The DSA-5100 also allows remote management from a restricted network and could also be defined. Network time synchronization is supported and could be set by specifying an External Time Server's IP address on this interface. Create Strategy: File Name: Upload Strategy: Reset: --> WAN1 Configuration: The WAN1 interface could be configured to use static IP address, DHCP IP address or PPPoE client to connect to the network. Firmware Version: File Name: --> WAN2 Configuration: The WAN2 interface could be configured to use static IP address, DHCP IP address or trucking with WAN1(802.3ad) to connect to the network. Public LAN Configuration: Clients on the Public LAN network must login before they can access the network. The Public LAN port could be set to NAT mode or ROUTER mode. Under either mode, the DHCP service could be enable or disabled. It is also possible to have the DSA-5100 serve as a DHCP relay only. It is also support VLANs. Private LAN Configuration: Clients on the Private LAN can access the network directly. Like the Public LAN port , the Private LAN port could be set to NAT mode or ROUTER mode. Under either mode, the DHCP service could be enabled or disabled. It is also possible to have the DSA-5100 serve as a DHCP relay only.
