If you type a Web address into your browser, such as www.broadbandrouter.com, a DNS server will find that name in its index and find the matching IP address. Most Internet Service Providers (ISPs) provide a DNS server for speed and convenience. Since your ISP may connect you to the Internet through dynamic IP settings, it is likely that the DNS server IP Address is also provided dynamically. However, if there is a DNS server that you would rather use, you need to specify the IP Address of that DNS server. The primary DNS will be used for domain name access first, in case the primary DNS access failures, the secondary DNS will be used. Primary DNS: Secondary DNS:     © 2009 Hawking Technologies, Inc.
