Help / LAN Config Help / LAN Config MAC Address The Ethernet MAC (Media Access Control) address of the LAN interface of the Broadband Access Router. It is shown in six hexadecimal numbers. This field is read-only. LAN IP Address This is the IP address of the local LAN interface of the Broadband Access Router. The IP address value uses dotted decimal notation (N.N.N.N with N being a value from 0 to 255). The default is 192.168.1.1. You can change it if your existing network uses a different subnet or there is another computer with the same IP address. This is the IP address that client computers on the LAN will use as their default gateway, as well as their DNS server if you would like to use the built-in DNS feature of the Broadband Access Router. Subnet Mask The local subnet mask of the LAN interface of the Broadband Access Router. The default is 255.255.255.0, in typical IP dotted-decimal notation.
