An access list adds another level of wireless security to your Vonage Phone Adapter. It allows you to specify a list of Mac addresses that are either allowed to connect to your Vonage Phone Adapter or are banned from connecting to it. You can only create one type of access list, either Allow or Ban, not both. How do I add a wireless device to my access list? To add a wireless device to your access list: 1. Select whether you want to create an Allow or Ban access list by selecting the corresponding radio button. 2. Enter the Mac address of the wireless device into the Mac Address field. It must be enter in the following format: nn:nn:nn:nn:nn:nn. 3. Click the Add button. 4. Click the Save button. 5. Click the Restart Wireless tab. (The Restart Wireless tab is located in the left panel of the page.) How do I delete a wireless device from my access list? To delete a wireless device from your access list: 1. Check the checkbox next to the Mac address in the Access list for the wireless device you want to delete. If you want to delete all the Mac addresses in your access list, check the Delete All box. 2. There is a Mac address in my Associated Stations list that I do not know. How can I prohibit that device from accessing my WLAN? To prevent the device in your Associated Stations list from further accessing your WLAN: 1. Click the Ban Station radio button associated with the Mac address you want to ban. 2. Click the Save button. 3. Click the Restart Wireless tab. (The Restart Wireless tab is located in the left panel of the page.) If the Allow access list was enabled, this Mac address will be removed from the list. If the Ban access list was enabled, this Mac address will be added to the list.
