IP filters allow you to block certain data from a LAN client. Create a new IP filter rule Delete IP filter rule(s) How to block/unblock LAN clients to ping to the WAN: From the 'LAN IP' drop-down box, select the IP of the LAN client which ping to the WAN is to be restricted Check the 'Block Outgoing Ping' checkbox to block it, or uncheck to unblock it Click the Save button How to block/unblock LAN clients to send and receive data to/from the WAN: From the 'LAN IP' drop-down box, select the IP of the LAN client that you want to block network access Check the 'Block All Traffic' checkbox to block it, or uncheck to unblock it Click the Save button How to view an existing IP filter rule: Select one of the service categories (Games, VPN, Audio/Video, Apps, Servers). The page will refresh and the available rules for the selected category will be displayed. From the 'Available Rules' box, select the rule you want to view Click the View button. Another page will open. Click on Cancel on the next page to go back to this page. How to select and apply existing IP filter rule(s): From the 'LAN IP' drop-down box, select the IP of the LAN client whose network access you want to restrict. Select one of the service categories (Games, VPN, Audio/Video, Apps, Servers). The page will refresh and the available rules for the selected category will be displayed. From the 'Available Rules' box, select the service you want to block Click the Add button. The selected service will appear in the 'Applied Rules' box. You can repeat the steps to add more services for the same LAN client Click the Save button Note: If you cannot find a certain IP in the drop-down box, either the LAN client is not connected to the gateway properly, or you need to enter the static IP of the LAN client. Click the 'New IP' button to add a static LAN client. How to create an IP filter rule: Select the service category 'User'. The page will refresh and previously added rules will be displayed. Click the New button Follow the Help information on the next page. How to delete IP filter rule(s): Select the service category 'User'. The page will refresh and previously added rules will be displayed. From the 'Available Rules' box, select the rule(s) which you want to delete Click the Delete button
