We have preconfigured your Sky Hub with the optimum settings. This is a read only summary page, if you wish to change settings use the menus at the top of this page. Manufacturer - maker of your Sky Hub. Model - model number. Firmware Version - this is the current software your Sky Hub is using. DSL Firmware Version - This is the version number of the low-level DSL firmware. This is contained within the Sky Hub Firmware. Modem The current Modem status and settings are shown in this section. Modem Status - the current state of the DSL connection to your phone company. Broadband Port These are the current DSL settings. We have configured these setting by default for you. MAC Address - the physical address of the Sky Hub, as seen from the Internet. IPv4 Address - current Internet IP address in IPv4 address space. If assigned dynamically, and no Internet connection exists, this will be blank or 0.0.0.0 Network Type - indicates the connection type (e.g. PPPoE, IPoE) used on the DSL port. IPv4 Subnet Mask - the subnet mask associated with the Internet IPv4 address. Gateway IPv4 Address - the Gateway associated with the Internet IPv4 address. IPv4 Domain Name Server - displays the address of the current DNS for IPv4 address space. Gateway IPv6 Address - the Gateway associated with the Internet IPv6 address. IPv6 Domain Name Server - displays the address of the current DNS for IPv6 address space. May be empty if the addresses can be resolved using IPv4 DNS server itself IPv6 Global Address - current globally routable Internet IP address in IPv6 address space. If no Internet connection exists, this will be blank IPv6 Link Local Address - IPv6 private address assigned for the router in the WAN link. It is unique only on that link and is globally non-routable IPv6 Delegated Prefix - IPv6 prefix obtained from the ISP router that can be assigned by the CPE to the devices connecting to it on the LAN and requesting an IPv6 address WAN Port The current WAN status and Port details are shown in this section. Wan Status - the current state of the WAN connection. Port Detail - Ethernet port number used for WAN connection. LAN Port These are the current settings, as set in the LAN IP Setup page. MAC Address - the physical address of the Sky Hub, as seen from the local LAN. IPv4 Address - LAN IP address of the Sky Hub in the IPv4 address space. DHCPv4 - indicates if the Sky Hub is acting as a DHCP Server for devices on your LAN in IPv4 address space. IPv4 Subnet Mask - subnet mask associated with the LAN IPv4 address. IPv6 ULA - IPv6 address to be used by the router in the private (LAN) network. It is globally non-routable IPv6 Global Address - current globally routable Internet IP address in IPv6 address space. If no Internet connection exists, this will be blank IPv6 Link Local Address - IPv6 private address assigned for the router in the LAN link. It is unique only on that link and is globally non-routable DHCPv6 - indicates if the Sky Hub is acting as a DHCP Server for devices on your LAN in IPv6 address space. Wireless Port These are the current settings, as set in the Wireless Settings page. Name (SSID) - SSID of your Sky Hub. Region - this should be set to Europe. Current Channel - the current channel in use by your Sky Hub. Wireless AP - indicates if the Access Point feature of your Sky Hub is enabled or not. If not enabled, the Wireless LED on the front panel of your Sky Hub will be off. Broadcast Name - indicates if your Sky Hub is broadcasting its SSID. Attached Devices This page shows the device name for each device attached to your Sky Hub.
