A COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 router protects your home network by blocking unwanted incoming internet connections and acting as a basic firewall. Sometimes you need to open a port in your router in order to get a good connection for a game or to use a specific device on your network. The Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 lets you choose the applications that are allowed to connect through an open port. By opening a port in your router you allow a specific application or game to send data from the internet to your home network.
You need to follow the steps below to open ports in your COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 router:
- Set up a static IP address on the device or computer you are forwarding these ports to.
- Go ahead and log in to your COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 router.
- Navigate to the IPV4 Port Forwarding section in your COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 router.
- Click on the Router tab at the top of the screen.
- Click on the Advanced tab at the left of the screen.
- Click the IPV4 Port Forwarding tab, which is at the left of the screen.
- Go ahead and create a IPV4 Port Forwarding entry.

After setting up a static ip address on your devices you need to login to your router.
Login To Your COM HEM Router
The COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 router uses a web interface to display router settings. In order to login to the COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 router you need to use a web browser.
Open your favorite web browser. If you don't have a favorite or are not sure what this means, open up Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. If you are already in a browser window, go ahead and open up a new tab.

Find the address bar in your browser window. This is usually found at the top of the page, like in the image below.
Above is an example of what a web browser address bar looks like. Find the address bar in your web browser and type in your router's IP address.
The COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 router's default IP address is: 10.25.11.1
After typing your router's IP address into the address bar, make sure to click the enter button on your keyboard. You should see a box similar to the one shown below.
To login, enter the username and password for the COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0s. Important Note: If you have changed them in the past, you need to enter in those values.
- The default COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 Router Username is: none
- The default COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 Router Password is: blank
Once you enter your username and password, click the Login button.

If, after trying the above list of passwords you still can't login you may need to consider a reset for your router. Learn how to do that by reading our How to Reset a Router guide. After resetting the COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 router your username and password are reverted back to factory defaults.
Find the Port Forwarding Section
After successfully logging in to your COM HEM Wi-Fi Hub V1.0 router you should see the router's home page on your screen. Find the IPV4 Port Forwarding section of your router.
- Click the Router tab, which is at the top of the screen.
- Click the Advanced tab, which is at the left of the screen.
- Click the IPV4 Port Forwarding tab at the left of the screen.
You should now be on a page called IPV4 Port Forwarding.
Create A Port Forward
Opening a port to a specific device may solve problems that you are having on your network. Make sure that it is necessary though, before opening a port, because you are effectively creating a pinhole in the firewall portion of your router that could lead to malicious traffic on your network. The risk is exceedingly low, though, so don't let this warning stop you from making this change if you need it.
Here are the ports to forward for Xbox Live:
- TCP Ports: 3074
- UDP Ports: 3074

- Make up a name to put in the Name box. The name does not have any effect on the functionality of the forward; it's simply there so you can know why it was created.
- Find the External Ports entry boxes.
- Enter the port number into the Start Port and the End Port boxes to forward a single port. If you are forwarding a range of ports, enter the lowest number of that range into the Start Port box and then enter the highest number of that range into the End Port box.
- Take the values that you entered in the External Ports boxes and put the exact same numbers in the Start Port and End Port boxes under Local Ports.
- In the Protocol dropdown box, select the protocol type of the ports you are forwarding. Choose Both if your router has that option. Otherwise, choose either TCP or UDP as needed. If you need to forward a port for both TCP and UDP and your router does not have the Both option, then you need to create two entries.
- Enter the IP address that you are forwarding ports to into the Local IP Address box. It is possible to forward a port to the IP address of your computer or to the IP address of a specific device on your internal network.
- Click the Add button at the bottom of the page to apply these changes when you are completely finished.
