Step 2
It is time to login to the ZyXEL VMG8324 B10A router. To do this you need to open up a web browser. It typically doesn't matter which browser you decide to use. I recommend picking the one you are most familiar with. Some common web browsers are Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, and Firefox.
Open the web browser and find the address bar. This will normally be at the top of the page like this:

Enter your username and password, and then click the Enter key to log in to your ZyXEL VMG8324 B10A router.
ZyXEL Usernames and Passwords

Step 3
In this step we will be finding the port forwarding section of the router. To do that we start on the first page:
Not shown in the above image are the options at the bottom of the page. Click the option labeled Network Settings.
You should now see a new menu. Click the option of NAT
At this point you see the image above. Click the Add button.
You are now in the correct place to create a port forwarding rule.
Step 4
Here are the ports to forward for Xbox Live:
- TCP Ports: 3074
- UDP Ports: 3074

In the Active checkbox put a checkmark.
You need to name this entry in the Service Name box. The name does not make any difference in the forward; it's just there so that you can remember later why you setup this forward.
Choose an available connection from the WAN Interface dropdown box.
If you are forwarding a single port, enter that port number into the Trigger Start Port, End Port, Translation Start Port and Translation End Port boxes. If you are forwarding a range of ports, enter the lowest number of the range into the Trigger Start Port and Translation Start Port boxes. Then enter the highest number of the range into the End Port and Translation End Port boxes.
Enter the IP address that you want to forward these ports to into the Server IP Address box. Note that if you are forwarding ports so you can run a program on a device other than your computer then you can enter your device's IP address into that box instead.
From the Protocol box select the protocol for the ports that you want to forward.
Don't forget to click the OK button when you are finished with each entry.
Your ports should now be open. It is time to test them.
Test if Your Ports are Open
Now that you have forwarded ports on the ZyXEL VMG8324 B10A you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
